Celebrate Computer Science Education Week at Goochland Elementary School!
Goochland Elementary School is excited to join the celebration of Computer Science Education Week from December 9-15! This week, we dove into the exciting world of technology and innovation, while highlighting the importance of being safe and responsible digital citizens.
Why Computer Science Education Matters Computer science is more than coding and computers; it’s about critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. By exploring computer science, our students are preparing for the future and learning skills that will empower them in our increasingly digital world. Governor Glenn Youngkin’s official proclamation recognizes the vital role of computer science education in shaping the workforce of tomorrow and fostering innovation across Virginia.
