Monday, March 3 – Hat Day
🎩 Read something that is top-notch! Wear your favorite hat and dive into a fantastic story.
Tuesday, March 4 – Twin Day
👯 Double your fun with a friend and a good book! Coordinate with a buddy and dress alike for double the reading excitement.
Wednesday, March 5 – Wacky Day
🤪 Mismatch your clothing and read a silly book! The crazier the outfit, the better! Let your imagination run wild.
Thursday, March 6 – GES March Madness Reading Night!
🏀 Wear basketball gear or something to show off your class March Madness Book! Join us for an evening of reading fun, as we celebrate our very own March Madness Book Tournament from 6-7pm!
Friday, March 7 – Pajama Day
🛌 Dress comfy and snuggle with a good book! End the week on a cozy note with your favorite PJs and an even better story.

Get ready to “TRAVEL” around the school and check out the competition in this year’s March Madness Book Tournament! Our Sweet Sixteen books are battling it out, and you won’t want to miss the action.
“SHOOT” to see as many projects and activities as you can! Each classroom has been working hard to showcase their chosen book, and you’ll be amazed by their creativity.
Discover what all the “HOOP”la is about by exploring this year’s contenders. Which book will take the championship?
“PICK (AND ROLL)” up a bracket and predict this year’s winner with your family! Brackets will be available throughout the week, so get ready to make your picks.
Don’t forget to “DUNK” your name into the drawing for one of three Reading Raffle Baskets! Every student has a chance to win, so keep on reading!

Join us for a night of family fun and reading excitement as we cheer on the Richmond Flying Squirrels against the Somerset Patriots! This special evening celebrates our students’ love for reading and brings our school community together for an unforgettable experience.
Event Schedule:
🏟️ Gates Open: 5:00 PM
🎉 Game Parade: 5:15 PM
⚾ First Pitch: 6:05 PM
All students will complete their special bookmarks in class during our March Madness Reading Program—a fun way to showcase their reading achievements at the game!
