Naming our Lodges

We are thrilled to celebrate our school Lodge system, where every student belongs to a community focused on core values, positive behavior, and school pride. Students earn Lodge points daily by demonstrating their Lodge's signature characteristics both visually and verbally:

Our Four Lodges & Point Expectations

  • Azura (Blue) – Respect

    • Looks Like: Quiet feet, keeping hands to self, keeping cafeteria seats clean.

    • Sounds Like: "Please," "Thank you," and using an appropriate volume.

  • Verdant (Green) – Growth

    • Looks Like: Engaging in productive struggles, active collaboration, and trying again.

    • Sounds Like: "I can try this," "Yet...", and "Every day is a new chance."

  • Granite (Gray) – Integrity & Grit

    • Looks Like: Following routines, fixing mistakes, practicing self-regulation.

    • Sounds Like: "I can't do this yet," asking questions, and saying "Good game."

  • Solara (Yellow) – Kindness & Positivity

    • Looks Like: Smiling, picking up after self, including everyone.

    • Sounds Like: Using kind words, inviting others to play, and offering encouragement.

Every Otter Every Day

Attendance Matters: Every Otter, Every Day!

Showing up is half the battle! We are rallying around our theme, "Every Otter, Every Day," because being at school consistently sets our students up for academic success, strong peer relationships, and team spirit.

On random days throughout the month, classes with perfect attendance will earn bonus Lodge points for their teams! Every student counts toward helping their Lodge reach new heights.

As highlighted by Attendance Works, missing just 2 days a month—whether excused or unexcused—can cause a student to fall behind academically. Building a habit of daily attendance helps children stay engaged, build confidence, and feel connected to their school community.

Note: While "Every Otter, Every Day" is our goal, please keep your child home if they are sick to ensure a healthy environment for everyone.

Encourage your child to share which Lodge they represent and ask them how they earned points today!
