Every year, November is dedicated to Native American Heritage Month. It has been celebrated since 1990 and is also referred to as American Indian and Alaska National Heritage Month. Native American Heritage Month is a month-long celebration of the culture, traditions, beliefs, and customs of the Native American people. It’s also a time to highlight the important contributions that Native American communities and individuals have made to the United States.
Over the next month students will be hearing stories in the library that celebrate Native American Heritage. Celebrate with us!
