🚀 Today, our 3rd graders had a special visit from the Frontier Culture Museum! They dove into the fascinating history of the ancient empire of Mali, once a powerful center of trade in West Africa. 🌍✨
Mali became incredibly wealthy by controlling the trade of two priceless resources: salt (essential for preserving food and staying healthy) and gold (used for stunning jewelry and coins). 🧂💰
Our students loved exploring how these trades helped Mali thrive and become one of the richest empires in Africa. What an amazing way to bring history to life! 🎉📚 #LearningAdventures #HistoryComesAlive #ThirdGradeFun
